Former Indian skipper and Chennai Super Kings star MS Dhoni was spotted arriving at the Dehradun Airport along with his wife Sakshi as he is likely to attend Rishabh Pant's sister's wedding. A video of their arrival in Dehradun surfaced on social media as plenty of fans gathered around them.

Pant's sister gave him a grand welcoming after he arrived from Dubai, where Team India defeated New Zealand by four wickets in the final to clinch their third Champions Trophy title. The keeper-batter, nevertheless, warmed the bench the whole tournament as KL Rahul had proved his mettle, especially in the knockout games, mainly with the bat.

Pant, meanwhile, made a stunning observation about today's generation of players, claiming that they care more about an IPL contract than representing India. The 27-year-old reckons if one is focused on playing for India, everything else falls into place.
"I never even thought about playing in the IPL. I think today, people are more focused on the IPL. Of course, it’s a great platform, but I believe that if your goal is to play for your country, everything else—including the IPL—will eventually fall into place. If you have that bigger mindset, success will follow. I always believed that I would play for India one day, and God has been kind. At 18, I got the opportunity to make my debut, and I am grateful for that."
