The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reportedly sent a legal notice to South African cricketer Corbin Bosch over allegedly violating his contractual obligations ahead of the upcoming season of PSL. With Bosch signing a contract with IPL franchise Mumbai Indians, he is unlikely to be available for PSL since both tournaments will clash with one another.

The 30-year-old pacer was roped in as an injury replacement for fellow South African seamer Lizaad Williams by the Mumbai Indians. However, Bosch was also snapped by the Peshawar Zalmi under the Diamond Category during the PSL draft that took place in Lahore in January 2025. The dates for IPL 2025 are March 22 to May 25, while PSL will run from April 11 to May 18.

A Pakistani journalist named Faizan Lakhani wrote on X:

"South Africa’s Corbin Bosch has been served a legal notice by the Pakistan Cricket Board alleging breach of the all-rounder’s contractual obligations to the PCB. The 30-year-old Bosch was picked by Peshawar Zalmi in the Diamond category during the tenth edition of PSL Player Draft, held in Lahore on 13 January. The legal notice was served through his agent, and the player has been asked to justify his actions of withdrawing from his professional and contractual commitments."

Corbin Bosch delivered a promising performance during SA20

Bosch, meanwhile, was part of MI Cape Town that won the SA20 edition this year. The 30-year-old took 11 wickets in eight matches in the season at 17.36. Although he conceded 27 runs in three overs in the final, Bosch picked up the critical wicket of Craig Overton.

As far as South Africa goes, he has played two ODIs and 1 Test for them thus far.
