Promising youngster Rohan Pai blanked Shubham Randhe 4-0 in the qualifying rounds of Draw 'G' in the NSCI presented Baulkline 4.0 Open Snooker Tournament at the NSÇI premises. Rohan won 54-20, 66-15, 78-30, 54-41. Rohan had a break of 55 in the third frame.
Equally at home in both the green baize games, Rohan had some time back rattled a century break in another ongoing billiards tournament.
In another match, Tathya S blanked Mohasin S 4-0 in the tournament which has an interesting format with the players all fighting for coveted spots in the main draw, from the qualifying rounds.
Tathya Y won 57-49, 50-41,62-45, 82-19 in a packed schedule of matches which features many matches in a day.
Sai S got the better of Ketan C 4-1 winning 69-49, 67-29, 53-61, 72-33, 52-23. Taaha K scored an identical 4-1 verdict over Alam S with a 52-42, 47-14, 55-57, 57-15, 66-38 score.
