Team India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah's stump mic comment went viral on day one of the third Test against Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane. With Rohit Sharma electing to bowl first on an overcast morning at the Gabba and the ball not doing much as he'd hoped, Bumrah was heard saying, 'Nahin ho raha hai swing" (It's not swinging).
At the toss, Rohit cited his decision to bowl first, explaining that it was down to the overcast conditions and wished to exploit it fully. However, not only did the India's pace trio struggled to find any significant movement, their line and lengths were also slightly off. As a result, Australian openers rocketed to 19 in 5.3 overs when showers first halted play.
Meanwhile, below is the video of Bumrah expressing his issues with the conditions:
India and Australia playing XI:
Australia playing XI: Usman Khawaja, Nathan McSweeney, Marnus Labuschagne, Steven Smith, Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, Alex Carey(w), Pat Cummins(c), Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood.
