'Meant My Remarks As A Joke': KKR Batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi Apologises For His Remarks On Saina Nehwal's Statement

Kolkata Knight Riders' young cricketer Angkrish Raghuvanshi has released an apology statement on social media regarding his remarks on Saina Nehwal's comment. The young cricketer took to his official account on X and mentioned that he only meant it as a joke, but admits it was an immature one.
Speaking on a recent podcast with Nikhil Simha, Nehwal expressed her grievance about cricket getting plenty of attention in India as compared to other sports. She believes cricket demands less stamina than other sports, claiming:
"Sometimes, I feel bad that cricket gets all the attention. The thing about cricket is... if you see badminton, basketball, tennis, and other sports are so tough physically. You don't even have time to pick up the shuttle and serve, you are like... you are breathing so hard. A game like cricket gets so much of attention where I personally believe skill is more important.
Raghuvanshi took to X and mocked Nehwal by claiming that he wishes to see how she goes against Jasprit Bumrah's rockets. After deleting the previous comment, he wrote the below on X:
"I’m sorry everyone, I meant my remarks as a joke, looking back I think it was a really immature joke. I realize my mistake and I sincerely apologize.
