All-rounder Advait Kekan produced an impressive performance with ball (3 for 20) and bat (25 runs) which helped Bhosale CA record a convincing 7-wicket win against MCC Thane in a second round Mumbai CC Academy Boys’ U-12 Talent Search Cricket League 2024-25 organized by Jwala Sports Foundation, and played at the Oval Maidan.
Choosing to bat, MCC Thane scored 141 runs for 9 wickets from their 25 overs. Thane’s leading run-scorer was Virat Nikumbh who scored a 64-ball 70 runs and Krish Sharma adding 22 runs. Advait was well-supported by Cristiano Buthello who took 2 wickets for 33 runs. Bhosale CA easily chased the target reaching 142 for 3 wickets in 20 overs. Kiaan P. top-scored with a 48-ball 61 runs, while Advait contributed 25 runs and Edhas Swain scored an unbeaten 21 runs to see the team home. Shaardul Joshi claimed 2 for 18 runs.
