Punjab Kings spinner Yuzvendra Chahal's rumoured girlfriend RJ Mahvash jumped in joy as the former took the crucial wicket of Suryakumar Yadav in the IPL 2025 Qualifier 2 against the Mumbai Indians on Sunday in Ahmedabad. A video of the same surfaced on social media as RJ Mahvash could not contain her excitement.

With Chahal coming in to bowl his last over and Suryakumar Yadav on song, the latter belted the wrist-spinner for a boundary and a six. However, Chahal had the last laugh as the right-handed batter went for the sweep and miscued it, with Nehal Wadhera taking a simple catch at mid-wicket. Nevertheless, Suryakumar had provided the Mumbai Indians with a much-needed impetus, hitting 44 off 26 deliveries.

The toss at the gigantic Narendra Modi Stadium went in favour of Punjab Kings and Shreyas Iyer opted to bowl first against Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2 clash, citing overcast conditions at the venue. Both Punjab and Mumbai have confirmed one changes each, with the former bringing in Yuzvendra Chahal for Musheer Khan. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians have drafted in Reece Topley for the injured Richard Gleeson.
