With Virat Kohli featuring in a T20I for the first time in 14 months, fans' craze knew no bounds at the 2nd T20I between India and Afghanistan at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. As a result, one of the spectators did breach the security railing at the venue to meet Kohli. The pic of the same has gone viral on social media.

The Delhi-born cricketer missed the opening T20I in Mohali due to personal reasons. Hence, there was plenty of buzz for the 2nd. The incident occurred when Kohli was fielding at the boundary and the fan jumped in excitement to meet the star cricketer.

As for his batting in the 2nd T20I, Kohli came out to bat in the first over itself after captain Rohit Sharma departed for a golden duck. The right-hander added 57 with Yashasvi Jaiswal before mistiming a shot to mid-off to go for 29 off 16 deliveries.

However, the Men in Blue hardly suffered any jitters in pursuit of 173 as Jaiswal and Shivam Dube added 92, with the former top-scoring with 68. Even as Jaiswal and Jitesh Sharma fell in quick succession, the home side required less than 20 runs.

Despite half-centuries from Jaiswal and Dube, Axar Patel earned the Player of the Match award for his figures of 4-0-17-2.
