Sarfaraz Khan has sent a defiant message after being overlooked for India’s upcoming two-Test series against Sri Lanka. The batter took to Instagram and shared a picture from a movie with the caption, “I may not fit in, but I’ll fight with everything I’ve got.” The post quickly attracted attention from cricket fans. Although the batter did not explicitly mention the selectors or name chief selector Ajit Agarkar, the timing of the post led many fans to interpret it as a possible expression of his frustration over another omission.

Sarfaraz last represented India during the 2024 home Test series against New Zealand. He made a significant impact in that series, scoring 171 runs across six innings, but has not featured for the national side since then.
