The Men in Blue will play two tests at Galle and Colombo, with fans allowed to enter without paying for tickets. Both matches are part of the ongoing WTC 2025-27 cycle.
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced free entry for spectators during the upcoming two-Test series against India, which begins on August 15 in Galle. The initiative is aimed at encouraging more fans to experience international Test cricket. SLC said the move offers a great opportunity for the public to watch world-class cricket without any admission fee.
The opening Test will be played at the Galle International Stadium from August 15, while the second match is scheduled at the SSC in Colombo from August 23 to 27.
In its official statement, SLC invited cricket enthusiasts, young aspiring players, families, and sports lovers from across the country to attend the matches. The board expressed hope that the initiative would create a lively atmosphere and boost support for the longest format of the game.
