VIDEO: Beer Bottles Scatter On Pune-Bangalore Highway After Truck Mishap, Locals Make A Run For It

A speeding truck collided with a parked container carrying beer bottles from behind  near Karad on the Pune-Bangalore highway. The incident occurred around 5 am in Nandalapur village area. 

Reportedly the speeding truck lost control and crashed into the rear side of a parked beer container. The truck driver was injured in the accident, while the vehicle carrying the goods was heavily damaged. 

Following  the accident, people rushed there to pick up these spilled beer bottles causing traffic disruption on the Pune-Bangalore highway for some time.

According to information received from the accident site, the container was heading towards Kolhapur from Bhiwandi carrying boxes of beer. When it reached the Nandlapur village on the Pune-Bangalore highway, the driver stopped for a brief break on the highway. 

At the same time, the speeding truck driver, who was also heading towards Kolhapur, lost control of the vehicle and hit the truck from behind. Meanwhile the impact caused the box filled with beer bottles to spill across the highway patch and spread glass shards.

As soon as the information about the accident was received, Sunil Kadam and Rahul Kadam immediately reached the accident spot. The injured were immediately sent to the hospital in an ambulance for immediate treatment. The accident has been registered at Karad City Police Station.
