A serious incident was reported on Monday afternoon at Sinhagad Road in Nanded City, Pune, where three workers got trapped under a pile of soil while drainage line work was underway.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred when a portion of the soil collapsed during the excavation process. Emergency response teams, including the PMRDA Fire Brigade and the Pune District Disaster Response Force (PDRF), rushed to the spot and immediately began rescue operations.
One worker has been successfully rescued, while efforts are currently underway to locate and rescue the remaining two individuals who are still trapped under the debris.
