Rajkumar Shinde Appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 5 in Pune

Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar (IPS Amitesh Kumar) has appointed Rajkumar Shinde as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 5.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 5, R. Raja (IPS) has been transferred to the post of Superintendent of Police in the Police Communication, Information Technology, and Transport Department. Therefore, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Headquarters, Rajkumar Shinde, has been appointed in his place.

Rajkumar Shinde, Superintendent of Nanded Division of the Anti-Corruption Department, was transferred to the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Pune City, in August 2024. After joining Pune, he was given the responsibility of the headquarters.
