Pune:'Mi Punha Yein Stuck With Me Permanently,' Says CM Devendra Fadnavis
“The phrase ‘Mi punha yein’ (I will come again) keeps following me. Recently, people say it positively, but in the past, it was said mockingly. In the end, a word sticks with you,” said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the Vishwa Marathi Samelan in Pune.

“The phrase ‘Mi punha yein’ (I will come again) keeps following me. Recently, people say it positively, but in the past, it was said mockingly. In the end, a word sticks with you,” said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the Vishwa Marathi Samelan in Pune
“Wherever we travel around the world, Marathi people are always there to welcome us. When I visited Davos, Marathi people even traveled 500-800 kilometers just to greet me. One child recited a beautiful Marathi poem, and I felt immense pride. But that same child also said, ‘Mi punha yein’. This phrase has stuck with me permanently,” said the CM.
He mischievously said, “In this conference, Mi Punha yein, Mi Punha Yein…” and ended his speech at the Vishwa Marathi Samelan.
