Beed: A 20-year-old youth was found hanging from a tree on a farm on the outskirts of Beed city under the jurisdiction of the Peth Beed Police Station on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Rohit Ishwar Kale (20), a resident of Chincholimali in Kaij taluka.
According to the police, he had been working at his maternal uncle's farm adjoining Aditya College in the Nalwandi Naka area.
His body was discovered hanging from a tree at around 11am on Thursday. Local residents alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and began an investigation.
Police personnel BB Bhole conducted the spot panchnama before the body was sent to the Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
