Thane: E-Bike Battery Blast In Ambernath Destroys 10 Bikes, Car; No Injuries Reported

As many as ten motorcycles and one car were burned after an e-bike battery exploded in the Ambernath area on Wednesday night. No human injuries or casualties have been reported, an official from the fire department said.

According to fire officials, residents woke up to find the fire spreading and immediately alerted the fire brigade. Firefighters rushed to the scene and successfully extinguished the blaze.
Bhagwat Sonawane, Chief of the Ambernath Fire Station, said, "Our team responded with fire tenders after receiving the alert. The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes. The cause of the fire is suspected to be an e-bike battery explosion."
