Thane District Collector’s 37-Year-Old PA Drowns At Harihareshwar Beach In Raigad
Sarode began her career as a clerk in the Thane district administration and was promoted to assistant revenue officer in 2024. At the time of her death, she was serving as the personal assistant to district collector Ashok Shingare.

A 37-year-old woman, a personal assistant at the Thane district collector’s office, drowned at Harihareshwar beach in Raigad on Sunday morning. Pallavi Sarode was on a trip with friends and entered the water at the beach, where she was swept away by a high tide and accidentally drowned.
Her friends alerted the rescue team, who retrieved her from the water and administered CPR. Unfortunately, she passed away before reaching the hospital. Sarode is survived by her husband, mother-in-law, and 13-year-old son.

An Accidental Death Report was filed at the police station, as confirmed by Manoj Sanap, the PRO from the district collector’s office.
