Sachin Kurmi Murder Case: Mumbai Crime Branch Arrests 6th Accused, Remands Him To Police Custody Until January 24
Mumbai Crime Branch Unit 3 has arrested the sixth accused in connection with the Sachin Kurmi murder case that occurred in Ghodepdeo. The accused has been identified as Shekhar Vasant Madholkar. The arrest marks the sixth in the case, with action taken under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).

Mumbai: Mumbai Crime Branch Unit 3 has arrested the sixth accused in connection with the Sachin Kurmi murder case that occurred in Ghodepdeo.
The accused has been identified as Shekhar Vasant Madholkar. The arrest marks the sixth in the case, with action taken under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
According to police sources, the accused was produced before the court, which has remanded him to police custody until January 24. Investigations are ongoing, and police are working to gather further evidence related to the case.
The Mumbai Crime Branch has made a significant arrest in the murder case of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sachin Kurmi, bringing the total number of arrests to Six.
Earlier Deputy Coordinator of the Byculla Assembly Constituency from the Shinde faction Dilip Wagaskar, Govind Yadav, a SIM card supplier, were arrested. Yadav accused of providing SIM cards to the three primary suspects already in custody Anand Kale (alias Anya), Vijay Kakade (alias Papya) and Praful Patkar.
