"In 2019, a partial collapse of a metal bridge at the Mini Seashore site led to the suspension of two engineers from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) for negligence.
But nothing changed even now. The area is dirty and I'll maintained even now," Raju Shinde, a former corporator and regular visitor of Mini seashore for morning walks, said.Community efforts have been made to address these challenges. The shades made need to be changed and so do the benches. I don't not remember of any work happening at this place post Covid," Shinde added.
Prakash Bolia Jain, a jewellery from Vashi who have been a regular at Mini Seashore since 25 years echoes the same thoughts as that of Shinde. "The dirty water and mosquitoes are a threat to us.
