Navi Mumbai News: BJP MLA Manda Mhatre To Inspect Monsoon Holding Pond In CBD Belapur On June 4

Navi Mumbai: In preparation for the upcoming monsoon season, Belapur's three-time BJP MLA, Manda Mhatre, will be conducting an inspection of the holding pond facility in CBD Belapur on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM.

The visit will take place at the Monsoon Water Lifting Centre (Pump House) located in Sector-12, Sarovar Vihar Marg, Reti Bandar Road, and aims to assess the infrastructure in place for effective water management and drainage during the rains.

"Holding ponds play a crucial role in mitigating urban flooding and ensuring proper stormwater management in low-lying areas. The inspection is part of a broader initiative to enhance preparedness and ensure the safety and convenience of residents in the Belapur constituency during the rainy season," said a representative from the MLA office.
