Navi Mumbai: Free Yoga Workshop In Nerul East Offers Holistic Wellness Experience; Check Details

A free 7-Day Yoga Workshop is to be held at Wonders Park, Nerul

The workshop will be held daily from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM at Sector 19A, Nerul East. “We are students of Yoga Vidya Niketan, currently undergoing the 48th batch of the Yoga Teacher Training Course. As part of our practical project workshop, we are conducting a basic introductory course which is in line with our Guruji’s concept of  ‘Ghar o Ghar Yog’. This session, lasting one and a half hours, is an essential part of our assessment process.

The sessions, guided by the teachings of Late Padmashri Yogacharya Sadashiv Nimbalkar Guruji, are aimed to provide a holistic journey for the mind, body, and soul.

This initiative is part of Yoga Vidya Niketan's mission to serve humanity through the practice of yoga since its inception in 1974. The organisation has been instrumental in promoting yoga awareness and wellness programs. It believes in making yoga accessible to all, encouraging individuals from all walks of life to participate. The workshop is intended to give citizens an opportunity to experience yoga.  

Residents and yoga enthusiasts are encouraged to participate and experience the benefits of yoga under expert guidance. A group of four students is leading this initiative across different locations, along with 130 other students participating both online and offline.

“Before we begin the session, participants will be asked to fill out a form, and then we will introduce them to fundamental breathing techniques and essential yoga asanas that form the basis of Pranayama. Our goal is to offer people a glimpse into the benefits of yoga. If participants find the session helpful, they can choose to pursue further courses under Yoga Vidya Niketan and continue their yoga journey with us,” said Sawant.
