Mumbai: School Principal Arrested For Sexually Abusing Minor In Vikhroli

Mumbai: A shocking case of Sexual assault on a minor has come to light in Mumbai's Vikhroli area. The principal of an English medium school has been accused of abusing a minor student. Following a complaint from the victim's family, the police have registered a case and arrested the accused.

According to the police, the minor, a student at the school, was allegedly sexually assaulted by the principal. The student had been avoiding school for several days, raising concerns among her family. When questioned, she revealed that the principal would call her to his office and assault her.

The family immediately filed a police complaint, leading to the principal's arrest. Officials stated that the student had attended school on Friday after a prolonged absence. During this time, the principal summoned her to his office under the pretext of inquiring about her absence and then exploited the situation.

The police have registered an FIR under Section 74 of the Juvenile Justice Act and Sections 7 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Further investigation is underway.
