Mumbai: Temporary Restrictions On Platform Ticket Sales At Major Central Railway Stations To Avoid Rush
According to CR, Platform ticket sales will restricted at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Dadar, Thane and Kalyan station of Mumbai division.

Mumbai: In anticipation of a heavy rush during the upcoming Mahaparinirvan Divas at Mumbai on 06 th December 2024, Central Railway will imposed temporary restrictions on the sale of platform tickets at select major station. This step aims to manage crowding on platforms and ensure smooth passenger movement within station premises.
The restriction of Sale of Platform Ticket is Effective from 02nd to 09th December 2024.
According to CR, Platform ticket sales will restricted at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Dadar, Thane and Kalyan station of Mumbai division.
Apart from that Badnera, Akola, Nandura, Murtijapur, Shegaon, Malkapur, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Pachora, Chalisgaon, Manmad, and Nasik of Bhusawal division, Nagpur and Wardha of Nagpur division, Pune station of Pune division and Solapur station of Solapur division.
Exemptions:
Senior Citizens and those with medical needs are exempted from these restrictions to ensure ease of travel.
Passengers are requested to plan accordingly and adhere to the new regulations for a smooth and safe travel experience during the this period.
