Mumbai Road Accident: Two Hotel Workers Die In Motorcycle Collision In Vile Parle
Chirag Nair, 20, a resident of Andheri (West), and Tushar Khandagale, 25, a resident of Andheri (East), were employed at a hotel in Bandra (West). After finishing their shift, they were returning home on a motorcycle when they collided with a tempo that had stopped on the road to change a tyre.

Two people were klled in a road accident in Vile Parle (West) on Thursday.
Chirag Nair, 20, a resident of Andheri (West), and Tushar Khandagale, 25, a resident of Andheri (East), were employed at a hotel in Bandra (West). After finishing their shift, they were returning home on a motorcycle when they collided with a tempo that had stopped on the road to change a tyre.
The tempo was stationary on Western Express Highway near the Ramnagar Subway. The Vile Parle police have registered a case against the driver for allegedly failing to take precautions while changing the tyre.
The driver is currently absconding. He was not injured as he was outside the vehicle at the time. Passersby immediately alerted the police, who arrived at the scene and rushed both victims to Cooper Hospital in Vile Parle (West), where they were declared dead.

Police confirmed that neither of the victims was under the influence of alcohol. The tempo driver fled the scene after the accident. As he failed to take safety measures while changing the tyre, the police registered a case against him under Section 106 (causing death by negligence) and other sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with applicable sections of the Motor Vehicles Act, on May 8.
