Mumbai Railway Accident: Teen Dies After Falling Between Platform And Train At Wadala
The railway police stated that it was an accident and ruled out any foul play. The Wadala railway police have registered an accidental death report.

A 19-year-old youth died after falling and getting trapped between a platform and a train at Tilak Nagar Railway Station on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Jitendra Puria from Rajasthan.
The railway police stated that it was an accident and ruled out any foul play. The Wadala railway police have registered an accidental death report.
According to the police, on March 15 at 4.54pm, Puria and his two male relatives were standing on Platform 2, waiting for a local train to travel to Panvel. Puria stood near the edge of the platform and suddenly fell on the track just as the train arrived, trapping him between the platform and the train and causing serious injuries.
The railway police and his relatives rushed him to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar (East), where he was examined and pronounced dead at 6.10pm. The police suspect that Puria may have felt dizzy and fallen. He had recently arrived in Mumbai to stay with his relatives in Chembur. The police examined CCTV footage and refused any foul play.
