Mumbai News: Samast Mahajan Boosts Animal Ambulance Fleet To 10, Adds Portable X-Ray For Emergency Care

Samast Mahajan, a charity organisation, has increased its fleet of free animal ambulances in Mumbai and Thane to 10 after the addition of one more vehicle in 2025.

The group has started services in Delhi with the deployment of two vehicles.

These are more than just ambulances; they are fully-equipped mobile hospitals designed to handle emergencies and critical care with precision. 

Samast Mahajan’s ambulances have Operation Theaters for performing emergency surgeries on the go, anesthesia units to ensuring painless and safe procedures for animals in critical conditions.

Oxygen cylinders and concentrators - essential life-saving equipment for animals requiring respiratory support. They have freezers for medications.

Committed to continuously enhancing its services, Samast Mahajan recently acquired a portable X-ray machine, made possible by the generosity of its donors. This cutting-edge addition has revolutionised diagnostics, allowing for faster and more accurate treatment, particularly for complex injuries and fractures.
