Mumbai News: 40-Year-Old Hasan Shaikh Brutally Killed In Mahim Over Theft Doubt
According to police, the incident took place around 11:50 PM on May 14. Hasan had gone out to drink with a friend, Vyanka, when the accused, Aslam Ansari, approached them and accused them of being there to commit theft. A confrontation followed, during which Ansari allegedly began assaulting Hasan.

Mumbai: A shocking incident of murder has surfaced in Mahim West, where a man was allegedly beaten to death by another over suspicion of theft. The deceased has been identified as Hasan Shaikh (40). Based on a complaint filed by the victim’s family, Mahim Police have registered a case of murder against the accused, identified as Mohammad Aslam Ansari, and initiated a thorough investigation.
According to police, the incident took place around 11:50 PM on May 14. Hasan had gone out to drink with a friend, Vyanka, when the accused, Aslam Ansari, approached them and accused them of being there to commit theft. A confrontation followed, during which Ansari allegedly began assaulting Hasan.
Hasan sustained serious injuries in the assault. He was rushed to Bhabha Hospital by his family, where doctors declared him dead at around 1:30 AM on May 15. The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and are continuing with further inquiries.
