On the occasion of Muharram processions from 7 pm to 1:30 am on August 9, 2022, southbound traffic from Lal baug bridge will be diverted to Veer Jijamata udyan, Sant Sawta Mali Marg left diverson, Nath Pai Marg right diversion ,P D'Mello road.

Meanwhile, Mumbai traffic police suggested that commuters traveling via Eastern Express Highway are requested to kindly take P D'Mello Road, freeway, or Marine Drive road, Haji Ali Road.

Here are the other instructions given by the traffic division

On the occasion of Muharram processions from 7 pm to 1:30 am on August 9, 2022, north bound traffic will be diverted from Chakala Junction, Gol deul Temple Duncan Road, Nagpada Junction Khadaparsi to Byculla Railway Bridge.

Due to Moharam processions on August 9, 2022, LMV from Chhedanagar to Vashi will pass through Ghatkopar Mankhurd flyover and heavy vehicles will pass through Umarshi Bappa Chowk via V. N. Purav route

In view of Moharam celebration at Karbala Maidan, Govandi on 9th August 2022, following orders are being issued for traffic regulation.

On the occasion of Muharram processions on 9 August, 2022, 60 feet road, 90 feet road, Dharavi, Mahim Sion Link Road, Sant Rohidas Marg, Mahim will be closed for vehicular movement between 3 pm to 12 am. Alternate traffic arrangements have been made.
