Mumbai: Man Arrested In Chembur For Raping 15-Year-Old Girl After Lacing Soft Drink With Sedatives
An FIR have been registered under various sections of BNS and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO). On the pretext of giving money to buy clothes, a minor girl was invited to her friend's house, mixed a sedative in her cold drink and raped while the girl was unconscious.

Mumbai: A sensational incident has come to light in Chembur area of Mumbai, where a man made a girl unconscious by mixing sedatives in a soft drink and then raped her. After receiving a complaint in this case, the RCF police has arrested the accused from Govandi area. The arrested accused has been identified as Sandeep Kashinath Mote (48).

According to the RCF police station, this incident took place on 8 January at 6.30 am. The accused Mote called the minor girl to Chembur railway station. He called her on the pretext of getting her clothes. After this, he took the minor to the house of one of his friends and there he made her unconscious by mixing sedatives in the soft drink. After this, he raped the minor. In this case, at present, the police has registered a case against the accused under BNS and POCSO and arrested the accused and is engaged in further investigation.
