It was the second such incident in less than two days. Earlier on Wednesday morning. At around 4:55 am, a technical fault in the signalling system near Mumbra on the south-bound slow track between Diva and Mumbra stations in Thane district led to delays of 15-20 minutes on the Central Railway’s main line.
On Tuesday evening, suburban services on the Western line were also disrupted following a technical glitch in the train management system at Borivali station.
