Mumbai: Cotton Candy Seller Held For Sexual Assault Under POCSO Act

Mumbai: Ghatkopar Police has arrested a 28-year-old neighbor, Who sales Cotton Candy on road for allegedly sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl.

Accused invited a girl to his house to play games on mobile phone. Later he sexually harassed her. When the victim's mother came to know about the incident, the mother and the girl started crying and told him about the incident.

The woman then called her husband and he took the neighbor into custody and informed the Ghatkopar police station.
Police have registered a case under POCSO charges. The girl underwent a medical at a local hospital, where the molestation was confirmed, after which the police arrested the accused person.
