Mumbai: FIR lodged against 4 Sena trolls
According to the police, the FIR was registered based on the potential of the tweets which could allegedly lead to disruption of harmony.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against four Yuva Sena members after a complaint was filed by BJP secretary of Maharashtra Hyder Azam, for disrupting harmony and tweeting derogatory and defamatory tweets against him and president of BJP Mumbai Ashish Shelar.
According to the police, the FIR was registered based on the potential of the tweets which could allegedly lead to disruption of harmony.
“Today I lodged an FIR against Yuva Sena goons at Bangur Nagar Police Station for their derogatory and defamatory tweets on social media against me and Ashish Shelar. I hope an arrest is made as soon as possible,” Hyder Azam, said.
“Based on a complaint made by our leader, the Mumbai Police filed an FIR against Shiv Sena workers for spreading false rumors targeting me," Ashish Shelar said and added that such cheap stunts did not bother him.
The accused have been booked under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 153A (Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc., and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony), 426 (Punishment for mischief), 500 (Defamation) and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).
