Mumbai: Central Railway Announces Traffic And Power Block At Karjat For Yard Modification On January 5

Central Railway will operate special traffic and power blocks to facilitate the offloading of portals at Karjat station as part of the Karjat yard modification project.
Block Details:
Date of Block: January 5, 2025 (Sunday)
Duration of Block: 11:20 a.m. to 1:05 p.m.
Traffic Block Section: UP, DOWN, and Mid lines between Bhivpuri Road and Palasdhari stations (excluding crossovers).
Impact on Suburban Train Services:
Suburban services between Neral and Khopoli will remain cancelled during the block period.
Trains heading to Karjat, departing CSMT from 9:30 a.m. to 11:14 a.m., will be short-terminated at Neral.
Trains heading to CSMT, departing Karjat from 11:19 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., will short-originate from Neral.
