The action was taken while the ANC team was patrolling the area as part of their operation against drug dealers, suppliers, and peddlers in the Mumbai city.

Mumbai: In a major crackdown, the Worli unit of the Mumbai Police Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) seized MD drugs worth ₹70 lakh and arrested a Nigerian woman from the Agripada area. The action was taken while the ANC team was patrolling the area as part of their operation against drug dealers, suppliers, and peddlers in the Mumbai city.
According to ANC officials, the team suspected a woman loitering in the Agripada area. Upon searching her, they recovered 350 grams of MD drugs, estimated to have a market value of ₹70 lakh. The woman, identified as Ima Stella alias Treasure Peter (34), was immediately taken into custody.
Investigations revealed that the arrested Nigerian woman was residing in India illegally. She has been charged under the NDPS Act, 1985, and remains in police custody for further questioning. The authorities are probing her involvement in a larger drug distribution network.
