The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) will organise public grievance days twice a month to address citizens' complaints more effectively. This directive was issued by MHADA Vice Chairman and CEO Sanjeev Jaiswal while reviewing the implementation of the 100-day action plan for all regional boards in Maharashtra.
To ensure wider participation, Jaiswal suggested using video conferencing for applicants from different districts. The initiative aligns with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s directives to improve public administration.
Jaiswal also instructed that administrative and technical approvals for projects be expedited, tenders be issued within a week, and new rules be followed to shorten tender durations. Additionally, he emphasized maintaining office cleanliness, setting up visitor facilities, and improving accessibility for persons with disabilities.
