Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis To Attend WEF In Davos, Highlight $1 Trillion Economy Vision
The visit, beginning on January 19, aims to reinforce Maharashtra’s position as a premier destination for foreign investments and highlight the state’s potential on the global stage. On this tour, Industry Minister Uday Samant, along with delegations from MIDC, MMRDA and CIDCO, will accompany the CM.

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is set to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos from January 20 to 24.
The visit, beginning on January 19, aims to reinforce Maharashtra’s position as a premier destination for foreign investments and highlight the state’s potential on the global stage. On this tour, Industry Minister Uday Samant, along with delegations from MIDC, MMRDA and CIDCO, will accompany the CM.
A significant number of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed during the visit in sectors such as data centres, automobiles, semiconductors, EVs, electronics, steel, food processing, textiles, pharmaceuticals and infrastructure.

The primary goal of this tour is to attract large-scale investments to Maharashtra, contributing to the vision of transforming the state into a $1 trillion economy. Additionally, this initiative aims to create significant employment opportunities. The delegation will also highlight the state’s recently announced policies during various business meetings.
While speaking to the media Fadnavis stated, “The WEF brings together prominent businessmen and industry leaders. It provides an opportunity for networking with new people, which often leads to investments in the state. I will also be meeting several businessmen during this visit. I am confident that this time, we will secure the highest investments for Maharashtra.”
