Mumbai: Police have seized the DVR from the CCTV cameras installed on the bus. A senior official stated that the footage would help identify passengers who were on board during the accident, and their statements will be recorded as witnesses.
The passengers were direct witnesses to the incident and could provide crucial evidence of the driver’s actions leading up to the crash. “The CCTV footage will help us understand the situation inside the bus and identify any errors made by the driver,” an official said.
The officer emphasised that the footage and passenger statements are expected to shed light on the sequence of events and contribute to building a strong case against the accused.
