Google Partners With Maharashtra To Empower AI Startups & Entrepreneurs
The minister has been working to take Maharashtra's startups to a global level, and this partnership with Google is expected to create new opportunities for the state's entrepreneurs. Google's venture capital and startup partnerships division is planning to establish an AI training center in India, similar to the ones operating in nine other countries.

Google is set to empower Maharashtra's Artificial Intelligence (AI) startups by providing them with global opportunities. Dr. Apoorv Chaturvedi, Head of Venture Capital and Startup Partnerships at Google, met with Minister for Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Mangal Prabhat Lodha to discuss the collaboration.
The minister has been working to take Maharashtra's startups to a global level, and this partnership with Google is expected to create new opportunities for the state's entrepreneurs. Google's venture capital and startup partnerships division is planning to establish an AI training center in India, similar to the ones operating in nine other countries.
The center will provide opportunities to selected startups through a rigorous selection process. This will be the first such center in the country, and it is expected to open up global opportunities for Maharashtra's young entrepreneurs.
The minister expressed confidence that this partnership will benefit the state's youth and help them become entrepreneurs. Primary discussions are underway, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is expected to be signed soon.
Additionally, Google has also shown interest in introducing modern technology courses for ITI students in Maharashtra. This initiative will further enhance the state's skill development ecosystem and provide students with industry-relevant skills.
