Central Railway Women’s Welfare President Asha Meena Donates Medical Equipment To Byculla’s Ambedkar Memorial Hospital
During the visit, Asha Meena, President, CRWWO donated several essential items to the hospital administration and indoor patients, including 2 Digital Platform Weighing scales and 1 Digital Table Top weighing scale to the Hospital. Apart from that 2 Folding Wheel Chairs with safety belt and 6 Commode Chairs were also donated to the Hospital.

Asha Meena, President, Central Railway Women's Welfare Organisation (CRWWO) along with Dharam Veer Meena, General Manager, Central Railway visited Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Hospital, Byculla on 15 August 2025, on the occasion of Independence Day.
During the visit, Asha Meena, President, CRWWO donated several essential items to the hospital administration and indoor patients, including 2 Digital Platform Weighing scales and 1 Digital Table Top weighing scale to the Hospital. Apart from that 2 Folding Wheel Chairs with safety belt and 6 Commode Chairs were also donated to the Hospital.
Asha Meena and Shri Dharam Veer Meena also made generous donations to the CHUNMUN crèche located on the premises of Byculla Hospital. The donations included small chairs, sleeping mattress, learning games etc for children.
In addition, the CRWWO also arranged for biscuits and cakes to be distributed at Little Angel School, Kalyan, run by CRWWO.
Prateek Goswami, Additional General Manager, Dr.Shobha Jagannath, Principal Chief Medical Director, Principal Head of all departments, Divisional Railway Manager, Mumbai Division, and Senior Officers of Central Railway were also present during the occasion.
Prerna Goswami, Vice President, CRWWO, Babita Pandey, Secretary, CRWWO, Teena Uppal, Treasurer, CRWWO and Office bearers of CRWWO were also present during the occasion.
The CRWWO continues to be a beacon of social responsibility, working tirelessly to uplift the underprivileged and contribute positively to society.
