Bombay Scottish School Case: CWC Records Minor’s Statement In Abuse Case Involving Ex-Teacher Bipasha Kumar, Submits Report To POCSO Court
The Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Mumbai has recorded the statement of a 16-year-old student, the alleged victim of physical and mental abuse by Bipasha Kumar, 40, a former teacher at Bombay Scottish School. A report based on the student's statement has been submitted to the POCSO court. Meanwhile, police are actively working to gather strong evidence in the case.

Mumbai: The Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Mumbai has recorded the statement of a 16-year-old student, the alleged victim of physical and mental abuse by Bipasha Kumar, 40, a former teacher at Bombay Scottish School. A report based on the student's statement has been submitted to the POCSO court. Meanwhile, police are actively working to gather strong evidence in the case.
The Dadar Police registered a case and arrested Bipasha Kumar on June 28. Following her arrest, the CWC took cognizance of the case and matter and proceeded to record the victim's statement. Sources confirmed that a report based on this statement has been submitted to the POCSO court.
The accused teacher is alleged to have sexually exploited the victim between January 24, 2024, and February 28, 2025. She was employed as a teacher until April 2024. After leaving her school job, she continued to exploit the boy for the next 9 to 10 months while working as a content writer.

According to sources, she would take the boy to five-star hotels in the City, introducing him as a relative, and engage in physical relations. To verify the information provided to the hotels, police are thoroughly interrogating hotel management. Dadar Police are conducting further investigations into the case.
