BJP Leader Threatened Over Mosque Loudspeaker Remarks; Police Complaint Filed Against Khwaja Committee Secretary

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has complained to the police about the threat allegedly issued by one Yusuf Umar Ansari, secretary of the Khwaja Garib Nawaz Committee, Maharashtra, for allegedly threatening to physically harm one of its leader.
In a video message, Ansari has allegedly threatened to enter the house of the leader, who resides in Mulund, and physically harm him. The alleged threat was issued after the BJP leader visited Govani recently and asked the police to remove loudspeakers from all the 72 mosques in the area.

The Bombay high court had recently directed the removal of illegal loudspeakers and also called for action against those violating decibel levels. Ansari can be heard in the video appealing to the people not to remove the loudspeakers.
