Mumbai: 8-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling Into Water Tank In Ghatkopar East
On Friday evening in Pantnagar, Ghatkopar East, 8-year-old Sachin Janbahadur Verma drowned after falling into an old water tank while playing. Police have initiated an investigation following the tragedy, which occurred around 6 PM.

Mumbai: A tragic incident occurred on Friday evening in the Pantnagar area of Ghatkopar East, where an 8-year-old boy drowned after accidentally falling into an old water tank while playing. The boy has been identified as Sachin Janbahadur Verma. Following the incident, the Pantnagar Police have launched an investigation.
According to the police, the accident took place around 6 PM on Friday. Sachin was playing in the Shantinagar Society of Pantnagar when he accidentally fell into the water tank and drowned. Local residents and the boy’s father rushed him to Rajawadi Hospital in an unconscious state, where doctors declared him dead before admission. A police team arrived at the scene, conducted a preliminary investigation, and is now probing the matter further.
