The Goa Food & Cultural Festival 2025 is set to be an unforgettable experience, blending Goa’s culinary heritage with vibrant cultural performances and artistic displays. Organised by the Department of Tourism, the festival will take place from January 3rd to January 5th, 2025, at Costa/Dukle Properties, Margao. Over three days, visitors will enjoy a perfect mix of tradition and innovation that celebrates Goa’s spirit.
Opening
The festival will open on January 3rd, 2025, with a formal inauguration attended by esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Pramod Sawant, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, and Shri Rohan A. Khaunte, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, IT, E&C, among others. The opening ceremony will feature a lamp-lighting ritual, a felicitation honoring prominent personalities, and a traditional welcome dance.
Attendees can look forward to captivating performances by Divya Naik, the band Lynx, and an enthralling dance and music showcase by Kanta Gaude and Pure Magic. This vibrant start promises to set the tone for the entire festival.
Showcase of talent
On January 4th, the spotlight will shift to Goa’s artistic diversity. The second day will feature:
Performances by budding Konkani duet singers.
A dance act by the Goan Image Dance Troop.
Dynamic acts by Samruddh and Vibha with their troupe.
A comedy session by Saidutt Kamat.
A high-energy performance by the band Lace.
This lineup ensures an entertaining and engaging experience for all visitors.
The festival will culminate on January 5th, 2025, with a grand finale celebrating Goa’s cultural vibrancy. Highlights of the evening include:
A dazzling performance by Rajesh and Gautami with their troupe.
Another breathtaking act by the Goan Image Dance Troop.
A soulful music session by Nishi Singh and her musicians.
A touch of humor with a mimicry act by Manohar Bhingi.
The festival’s final act: a grand performance by the band Purple Rain.
