Designers Swap Plans For Playbooks At Avyukta Premier League's First-Ever Cricket Showdown
Cricket and creativity came together in the most unexpected way as Mumbai’s architects and interior designers gathered for a one-of-a-kind event. The Avyukta Premier League (APL) brought professionals off their drawing boards and onto the pitch, turning a regular weekend into a memorable day of sport, bonding, and friendly competition.

Mumbai: On April 6, something different stirred at Player’s Turf in Malad. Instead of design meetings and site visits, the day was all about cricket. Architects and interior designers from across the city turned up, not to present layouts but to face off on the pitch.
This was the first edition of the Avyukta Premier League (APL), a cricket tournament started by Mr. Rohit Tejraj Jain and Mr. Rahul Tejraj Jain.
The event brought together 11 teams, each led by a member of the Avyukta team, with participation from design firms and studios all over Mumbai, and every team included at least one female player, showcasing a perfect mix of talent, energy, and inclusivity on the field. Alongside the players, one or two brand executives representing their respective sponsors also joined each team, adding more excitement and support throughout the day.
In the final match, Shapes Super Kings beat Delta Daredevils to take the trophy. But both teams walked off the field with smiles, which summed up the spirit of the whole day.
