Indore (Madhya Pradesh): On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, a 196 sq. ft. rakhi was tied to Lord Khajrana Ganesh on Saturday. Pandits chanted Vedic mantras during the ritual, while devotees gathered to witness the grand offering.
The rakhi was uniquely curated by artisans from Indore and Kolkata. The flowers were specially brought from Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune and other cities.
Prepared overnight by artisans from Indore and Kolkata, the rakhi was crafted entirely from flowers brought from Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, and other cities.
The design was made by Indore’s florist Yatharth Maheshwari. The creation used 100 kg of Indian and imported blooms, including Oriental Lily, Anthurium, Orchids, Sunflowers, Carnations, and China Palm. The floral arrangement is expected to remain fresh for up to 10 days.
