Road Sinks In Busy Market Area Of Indore, Creates Panic Among Locals (Watch Video)

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A part of the road suddenly sank in Indore on Friday.
The incident happened on a busy stretch where many people walk and drive daily.
A large portion of the road caved in, and photos of the damaged area have started circulating on social media.

The road near Meghdoot Garden in Indore’s Scheme No. 54 suddenly sank, creating panic among local residents and commuters.
The pictures and videos circulated show a big crack and a deep pit in the middle of the road.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as the area was not too crowded when the road collapsed.
According to information, the incident took place around 11 AM in a busy market area with many food stalls and medical shops.
A JCB machine was also seen at the location around 4 pm, working to clear and repair the damaged portion.
A medical shop owner near the spot said that water started appearing on the road earlier in the morning. He noticed the first signs of damage around 8 AM, and by 11 AM the road had caved in.
The area is surrounded by commercial activity, making the damage more dangerous for daily visitors. Fortunately, no one was injured.
After receiving information, Rajendra Rathore, the councillor of Ward 4, arrived with a Nagar Nigam team. The team quickly got the pit dug and filled to prevent further risk.
Locals have asked for long-term repair and stronger roads. Officials are expected to continue monitoring the area to ensure safety.
People are advised to avoid the stretch until full repairs are completed.
