MPPSC Announces Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam 2024 For 1930 Posts In 26 Subjects

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the notification for the Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam 2024, announcing 1,930 vacancies across 26 subjects.

In addition to the assistant professor positions, the exam will also cover 187 sports officer and 80 librarian vacancies.

The application process for the assistant professor posts will begin on February 27, 2024, and candidates can submit their applications until March 26. The examination will be conducted in two phases, with the first phase scheduled for June 1 and the second on July 27.

This recruitment is aimed at addressing the significant shortage of teachers in more than 580 government colleges across the state. The majority of the vacant positions are in science-related subjects, including chemistry, botany, zoology, and physics.

Other subjects with numerous vacancies include mathematics, commerce, Hindi, English, and geography-sociology. Positions in subjects like Marathi, Urdu, Sanskrit literature, and music have fewer vacancies.

MPPSC has been currently conducting interviews for candidates selected in the 2022 Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam, with interviews for Hindi and home science scheduled for January.
