Pansemal (Madhya Pradesh): The condition of schools under Pansemal District Education Centre has worsened during the monsoon. In some schools, students are unable to sit in classrooms due to accumulation of water inside, while in other cases, there is constant dripping from the roof and damp walls.
This came out during a meeting convened by district education officer (DEO) Damor and DPC Sharma of cluster principals, hostel superintendents and senior teachers to address these issues on Wednesday. They discussed examination results, building conditions and teacher arrangements.
Attendees raised concerns about the Primary School Balkhad in Moyda area, where teachers are coming to school. The officer instructed BRC Jitendra Baviskar to investigate and take action against negligent teachers.
The meeting also addressed operational issues including student uniforms, attendance and scholarships.
DPC Pramod Sharma warned that any irregularities in school operations would result in strict action. Additionally, a committee will be formed under SDM's leadership to investigate private schools regarding rising educational costs, like prescribing expensive books and hiking tuition fees.
Following meeting, villagers demanded improvements in school conditions and the provision of cooking utensils for Pansemal Girls School. Key officials, including BEO Vinod Patidar and school principals, were present at the meeting.
