Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Aaliya Siddiqui, the wife of Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has allegedly duped Rs 31 lakh from a local woman. The woman has complained about this to Barnagar and Mumbai police. The police have not yet registered a case, but have started an investigation.

Sunil Garhwal, the proprietor of Rudraksh Film and Multi Media, a resident of Ujjain, has filed a complaint against Alia Siddiqui at the Barnagar police station and his sister Manju Garhwal at Ambeli police station in Mumbai. According to this, they had started the production of ëHoly Cowí picture three and a half years ago. The film was recently completed and will hit the theatres on August 26. The filmís creative head and co-producer Manju Garhwal and her brother Sunil had invested Rs 53 lakh in the film.

Barnagar was finalised as the location for the film and the shooting took place from February 26, 2019, to March 2019. As the filmís financiers withdrew at the last minute, Alia sought financial help from Manju and Sunil. Then both of them invested Rs 53 lakh. Out of this amount, Alia has returned Rs 22 lakh but she is reportedly reluctant to return the remaining Rs 31 lakh.

According to Manju Garhwal, the film's crew members also owe Rs 7 lakh. In such a situation, Sunil has given a complaint application to Barnagar and Manju Garhwal to Ambeli police of Mumbai to get back their amount. According to Sunil, he was constantly demanding money from Alia, but she blocked his phone numbers. At present, the police have called Aaliya Siddiqui for investigation.
