Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Meets In Indore’s Rajwada, Approves Over ₹700 Cr For Hospital In Indore; Hostels For Working Women To Be Built In Industrial Hubs

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): For the first time ever, a cabinet meeting was held in Indore on Tuesday, marking a historic moment on the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar.

The meeting took place at Rajwada — the heart of Indore and the very place where Devi Ahilyabai once ruled with wisdom and compassion.

Several key decisions were taken during the cabinet meeting:

Yadav earlier said that the metropolitan model would enhance basic civic amenities while catalyzing industrial and commercial growth in the regions.

He added that with the creation of metropolitan cities, trade and industry would receive a significant boost.

After lunch, ministers will continue the discussion with a focus on the long-term vision for the state — the Madhya Pradesh 2047 Road Map, which outlines goals for development and progress over the next two decades.

This historic cabinet meeting in Indore not only paid tribute to Devi Ahilyabai Holkar but also set the tone for future development in the state.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, along with ministers including Kailash Vijayvargiya, arrived at the venue from Lal Bagh Palace in an electric AC bus.

The event was held in a traditional and symbolic manner. Minister Vijay Shah, however, was absent due to an ongoing inquiry over a controversial comment.
